Health, Safety & Compliance

We follow strict COSHH procedures, including full risk assessments and safe chemical handling training for all staff. For our healthcare clients, we work in line with CQC expectations and the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness, using colour‑coded systems and infection‑prevention protocols to maintain safe, compliant environments.

We take health, safety, and regulatory compliance seriously across every environment we clean. All of our work follows the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, which require employers to assess risks from hazardous substances and have arrangements in place for accidents or emergencies. This includes carrying out full COSHH risk assessments for every product we use and ensuring that Safety Data Sheets are available whenever needed. Our team is trained in the safe handling, storage, dilution, and disposal of cleaning chemicals, and we follow clear procedures for dealing with spills or unexpected incidents to protect both clients and staff.

For our healthcare clients, we work in line with the expectations set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Regulation 15 of the Health and Social Care Act requires that premises and equipment used for care are clean, suitable, well‑maintained, and used properly. We support these requirements by following structured cleaning schedules, using colour‑coded systems to prevent cross‑contamination, and applying infection‑prevention practices that align with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness. These standards emphasise consistent, measurable cleaning performance and a collaborative approach to maintaining safe clinical environments.

By combining COSHH compliance with CQC‑aligned cleaning practices, we ensure that every space we clean—whether domestic, commercial, or healthcare—meets the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism. Our approach provides clients with confidence that their environment is not only clean, but also maintained in accordance with recognised UK regulations and best‑practice guidance.
